Pay Attention

 Please only use Jägermeister Original or other Jägermeister products / editions with at least 33% ABV.

 Jägermeister Manifest is not recommended for Tap Machine use as it is served at room temperature or slightly chilled. 

Preparation

1. Unboxing

Please check the packaging for complete equipment (Bottle Stopper, cables and manual).

2. Clean

Before using the Tap Machine for the first time, please clean thoroughly.

3. Insert filter

Insert the filter into the slot provided.

Position the drip tray directly under the tap. 

5. Power supply

Plug the power cable into the connection socket on the back of the Tap Machine and make sure that the main switch is in position 0.

6. Ensure proper ventilation

Please do not place the Tap Machine directly against the wall so that the exhaust air can escape!

7. Keep a distance

Leave about 8cm at the back and 3cm at the sides. 

Bottle Stopper

At Jägermeister, we use two stoppers:

  • Neutral stopper for standard openings
  • NRC stopper for non-refillable openings

Please check which bottle type is used in your country before ordering.

Note

If you have NRC bottles in your country, please remove the golden ring. Only then screw the NRC stopper onto the bottle. 
The Filling

Make sure that the bottle stopper is properly engaged. Insert the Jägermeister bottles with the stopper mounted vertically into the shafts. The Jägermeister will now start flowing into the Tap Machine. When the tank is full, the flow of the Jägermeister stops automatically – thanks to the used bottle stopper(s).

Some 3 BTM 4th Gen units from the first production batches require at least 650 ml before the cooling system starts up. For more information, see manual.

Recommendation 

If you are not expecting many guests, you don´t have to fill up the device to the maximum, since it will be cold faster and will use less energy!

The Start-up

ATTENTION: Before you switch on the device, please tap at least 2cl of Jägermeister to remove residual water from the pipes.

Switch on

To switch on the Tap Machine, set the main switch on the back to 1. The display lights up and cooling begins. NOTE: Some early 3 BTM 4th Gen units need at least 650ml to start cooling. See manual here.

Wait at least 30 minutes before use, to ensure the perfect ice cold shot.

Shot glasses directly from the freezer! Serve it fast! Don't forget the necessary cooling time!

Let's get started

Pull the tap handle toward you to fill the shot glass to the mark. Release to stop. NOTE: The handle may freeze slightly over time. This is normal and won’t affect cooling. Enjoy your ice-cold shots! CHEERS & PROST! 

Cleaning after use

NOTE: Don't forget this step as it will extend the lifecycle of your device!

TIP: For cleaning you can use an empty, rinsed out Jägermeister bottle filled with warm water to place it one the Tap Machine.

1. Step

Turn off and unplug the Tap Machine. Remove bottles and stoppers. Drain all Jägermeister, then fill bottle shafts with warm water. Repeat the cleaning process until the water comes out clear.

2. Step

 Now drain the water completely by tilting the Tap Machine a little forward as shown in picture below.

FAQ

If your device is not properly working and the information in the manual and digital guide does not help, please check out the following FAQ:
How long should i wait to set up the device after delivery?

Please wait at least 24 hours as the cooling system needs to settle in an upright position, similar to a refrigerator.
How often should i clean my tap machine?

We recommend to clean air filter and accessories every week. We recommend cleaning the whole device (rinse with warm water) at least once a month. Check out the section “Device maintenance” in the formal manuals of each device - the better you maintain your Tap Machine, the longer you can enjoy your it!
Which are the correct steps to clean the machine correctly?

Please take a look at the AFTER USE: CLEANING section above.
Are the tap machines suitable for uncovered outdoor spaces?

No. Rain or sand could damage the device. Please make sure that the device is not exposed to direct sunlight and that no water, other liquids or sand gets into the housing of the device.
How can I reach optimal cooling performance?

Many factors can affect the temperature of the Jägermeister shot: 

1. Temperature of the glass → Make sure to use frosted Jägermeister shot glasses from the freezer.

2. Time from tapping to serving → the faster you serve, the cooler the result.

3. Ambient temperatures → the temperature inside the glass will go up extremely fast in high ambient temperatures.
Why doesn't the bottle stopper fit on the bottle?

It is possible that you don't have the correct bottle stopper. There are two types, you can distinguish by its color: the black one is for countries with non-refillable bottles, the green one for all refillable bottles (see section BOTTLE STOPPER).
Why is Jägermeister dripping from the bottle well?

Possible reasons:

1. The sealing ring might not be properly positioned. Check the fit of the sealing rings and, if necessary, put them into place.

2. The bottle stoppers are not screwed on properly. Make sure that the bottle stopper is correctly seated and screw it on properly if necessary.

3. The bottle stoppers are defective → Replace bottle stoppers.

4. The sealing rings are defective → Replace sealing rings.
How can i check whether the compressor is properly working?

After the compressor starts, the air coming out at the upper side of the back of the device should gradually get warmer. This is one of the reasons why you always must have enough space to the wall.
Why is the device not cooling and the LEDs of device are not lit?

The fuse may have blown. Please replace the fuse (see detailed information in official manuals).
Why are LEDs off and the cooling system of 3 BTM 4th gen does not start after changing the main switch to position “1”?

There might not be enough liquid inside the tank.

NOTE: for all 3 BTM 4th Gen produced before August 2023 you need to fill at least 650ml of Jägermeister inside the tank for the cooling system to start. All 3 BTM 4th Gens produced from August 2023 will cool permanently and regardless of liquid levels inside the tank.
What could be the reason for when the dispensed Jägermeister gradually gets warmer?

1. The air filter might be dirty and hinders fresh air from cooling the system. Clean the air filter with water and dry air filter completely before using again.

2. The device is placed too close to the walls and exhaust air cannot escape. Please place it with enough space to the back (8cm) and to each side (3cm).
Why does the device consume a lot of energy and is not cooling optimally?

The air circulation at the back and bottom of the device affects the energy and the cooling performance. Please make sure there is at least 8cm space at the back and 3cm to each side of the device.
No Jägermeister is coming out of the tap machine although it's filled up. What could be the reason?

The tank outlet valve is clogged due to:

1. Water has remained in the pipes after cleaning and is now frozen. Please turn off unit, empty any liquid (at the end by tilting the unit forward). Then fill with Jägermeister and tap a shot before resetting the unit.

2. Insufficient cleaning has caused the unit to become clogged with Jägermeister residue. Turn off the device, tap the Jägermeister completely. Then clean the device with warm water and make sure that it is completely drained (see 1). Then fill Tap Machine with Jägermeister and tap a shot before switching on the device again.

NOTE: if the device continues to get clogged even after cleaning as described above, please contact your sales contact or Jägermeister
